Equipment
Orientation - Offered to all new members on a monthly and semi-monthly basis, equipment orientation is designed to
take our new members through a crash coarse of basic instruction in order to familiarize everyone on the basics of operating
the cardio equipment, i.e. treadmills, elliptical cross trainers, bikes and some selectorized workout machines. Equipment
orientation is always held on a Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and it is given on a sign-up basis only. Equipment orientation
is announced in the newsletter and on the group fitness class schedule each month and sign-up is essential.
Injury Prevention with Physical Therapist Steve Woodhouse - Offered to all club members on a monthly and semi-monthly basis, Steve Woodhouse spends one hour on the floor,
offering our members correct exercises to use in relation to past or present injuries and then he spends the rest of the morning
seeing our members, free of charge, in a private 20 minute session. Injury Prevention with Steve is held on a Saturday
morning from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Private 20 minute sessions are on a sign-up basis only. Injury Prevention with
Steve is announced in the newsletter and on the group fitness class schedule each month.
Health & Fitness Evaluations - are
available by appointment only and can be given by any of our personal trainers. A complete health & fitness evaluation
includes; current weight, body fat ratio testing, waist to hip ratio, blood pressure, strength, flexibility & core endurance
testing and cardio testing. The evaluation takes 1 hour to perform and the cost is $45.
Body Composition Evaluations - take
15 - 20 minutes and include; current weight, body fat ratio testing, circumference measurements and blood pressure.
Body composition evaluations can be preformed by any personal trainer and the cost is $20.
