Your TFAC Personal Trainer John O'Donnell John O’ Donnell is 29 yrs old. John is from Northern California. John has spent his entire life being passionate about physical fitness and was often involved in two or more
sports at the same time. He grew up wrestling, studying martial arts, playing baseball, soccer and riding
motocross. John is a Personal Trainer certified through ISSA also being certified for Diet,
Nutrition, and CPR. John is an incredible addition to Total Fitness Athletic Club. He is already building a great clientele. John is looking forward to help inspire, motivate, and change lives. Up until John completed his certification he has been being mentored by Lisa Gough (co-owner of TFAC, and our Head Personal Trainer.) During that time he was
able to acquire a wealth of knowledge not only pertaining to physical fitness, but life as well. John has shown great commitment to bettering our gym and our community working in outside
sales helping local businesses find a way to make working out attainable for all there employees. John is not only wanting to cater to fitness enthusiasts, and athletes, but he hopes to work with
our youth and change their lives making them more aware of their health, the power of a positive attitude and the ability to achieve their physical endeavors. John’s goal with each individual
client is to personalize a plan to improve, and strengthen each participant’s strength, cardiovascular capabilities,
self-image, and knowledge of a healthy lifestyle. John keeps challenging himself each and
every day ,never settling, always knowing there is room to improve, and he is there to do the same for each person he comes in contact with.
Other Services Offered Into
To Free Weights - Offered to all new members on a monthly and semi-monthly basis, intro to free weights is designed
to show individuals the proper exercises that can be done with the use of free weights. During this instruction
individuals will be taught correct posture, form, and technique in order to execute various exercises safely. Intro
to free weights is always held on a Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and it is given on a sign-up basis only. Intro
to free weights is on the group fitness class schedule each month and sign-up is essential. Equipment
Orientation - Offered to all new members on a monthly and semi-monthly basis, equipment orientation is designed to
take our new members through a crash coarse of basic instruction in order to familiarize everyone on the basics of operating
the cardio equipment, i.e. treadmills, elliptical cross trainers, bikes and some selectorized workout machines. Equipment
orientation is always held on a Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and it is given on a sign-up basis only. Equipment orientation
is on the group fitness class schedule each month and sign-up is essential. Injury Prevention with Physical Therapist Steve Woodhouse - Offered to all club members on a monthly and semi-monthly basis, Steve Woodhouse spends one hour on the floor,
offering our members correct exercises to use in relation to past or present injuries and then he spends the rest of the morning
seeing our members, free of charge, in a private 20 minute session. Injury Prevention with Steve is held on a Saturday
morning from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Private 20 minute sessions are on a sign-up basis only. Injury Prevention with
Steve is on the group fitness class schedule each month.
Health & Fitness Evaluations - are available by appointment
only and can be given by any of our personal trainers. A complete health & fitness evaluation includes; current
weight, body fat ratio testing, waist to hip ratio, blood pressure, strength, flexibility & core endurance testing and
cardio testing. The evaluation takes 1 hour to perform. Contact a personal trainer for current rates.
Body
Composition Evaluations - take 15 - 20 minutes and include; current weight, body fat ratio testing, circumference
measurements and blood pressure. Body composition evaluations can be preformed by any personal trainer. Contact a personal
trainer for current rates.
