The role of a personal trainer is to educate, motivate and inspire their clients to lead a fitness orientated lifestyle. Your TFAC personal trainers are here to help you meet and/or exceed your personal fitness goals.  Regardless of your current fitness level or age, we know we have what it takes to get your fitness lifestyle moving in the right direction.

 

Personal training is offered at an additional cost to your gym membership.  Our trainers will meet with you to discuss your program and price options in a free consultation.

Lisa Gough

Lisa Gough has been in the fitness industry working as a personal trainer / lifestyle weight management coach since 1998.  Lisa's education includes certifications from ACE (American Council on Exercise), NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and APEX (nutrition certification).

She has competed as an amateur bodybuilder from 1999 from 2004. Over the years, Lisa has touched her clients lives through lifestyle weight management coaching and personal training programs. Since nutrition plays a very important role in everyone's health and fitness plan, Lisa puts her focus on weight management programs.

Katrina Sanders


Katrina Sanders
has a background in martial arts and she obtained her personal trainer certificate through ACE (American Council on Exercise) in June 2004, following her first Figure Competition at the ABA Naturals Mr. & Ms. Millennium show in Reno, NV.  Katrina has become very successful in her career and she was voted Runner Up Best Personal Trainer in 2006 and Best Personal Trainer 2007 by the readers of the Lahontan Valley News.  Katrina has a large client base, and she can customize fitness programs for men, women and kids with goals ranging from weight loss to sports conditioning.  Katrina offers a free consultation and can be reached at 775-428-2639 to schedule an appointment.

Other Services Offered

Equipment Orientation - Offered to all new members on a monthly and semi-monthly basis, equipment orientation is designed to take our new members through a crash coarse of basic instruction in order to familiarize everyone on the basics of operating the cardio equipment, i.e. treadmills, elliptical cross trainers, bikes and some selectorized workout machines. Equipment orientation is always held on a Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and it is given on a sign-up basis only.  Equipment orientation is announced in the newsletter and on the group fitness class schedule each month and sign-up is essential.


Injury Prevention with Physical Therapist Steve Woodhouse

Offered to all club members on a monthly and semi-monthly basis, Steve Woodhouse spends one hour on the floor, offering our members correct exercises to use in relation to past or present injuries and then he spends the rest of the morning seeing our members, free of charge, in a private 20 minute session.  Injury Prevention with Steve is held on a Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Private 20 minute sessions are on a sign-up basis only. Injury Prevention with Steve is announced in the newsletter and on the group fitness class schedule each month.


Health & Fitness Evaluations -
are available by appointment only and can be given by any of our personal trainers.  A complete health & fitness evaluation includes; current weight, body fat ratio testing, waist to hip ratio, blood pressure, strength, flexibility & core endurance testing and cardio testing.  The evaluation takes 1 hour to perform and the cost is $45.


Body Composition Evaluations -
take 15 - 20 minutes and include; current weight, body fat ratio testing, circumference measurements and blood pressure.  Body composition evaluations can be preformed by any personal trainer and the cost is $20.
